1) Build The Church
We believe that God has called us as Restore Christian Fellowship to be a fellowship of Christian believers (Acts 2:42) in Uttoxeter who, together with and under Christ (Col 1:18, Mt 28:20, 1 Cor 3:9) build His Church (Mt 16:18, 1 Pet 2:5) by proclaiming His Glorious Gospel (Mk 16:15), making and baptising disciples (Mt 28:19,20) and faithfully teaching His Word and commandments (Mt 28:20, 1 Tim 3:16,17) as revealed in the Bible and taught by the Apostles (Acts 2:42) in order to equip the saints for good works and works of ministry (Eph 4:12, 1 Pet 2:9)
2) Restore The Saints
We believe God has called us to be a fellowship devoted to the healing and restoration (Jer 30:17, Gal 6:2) of those saints who have been hard pressed and wearied by the tides of life (Mt 12:20). We desire through fellowship (Psalm 133, Gal 6:2), prayer and ministry (Jam 5:16) to see the downcast and broken loved, cared for and restored to full understanding of the glorious inheritance and hope of the calling which is theirs in Christ Jesus (Eph 1:18).
3) Seek And Save The Lost
We believe has called us to be a fellowship unashamedly (2 Tim 1:8) and passionately engaged in the proclamation of the Glorious Gospel through both corporate and personal evangelism (Mt 4:19, Acts 5:28, Acts 17:6, 1 Pet 3:15, 1 Peter 2:9) in both a local and international context (Mt 28:19) for the purpose of bringing salvation to all who would believe (Rom 1:16) .
4) Be A Blessing To The Community
We believe that God has called us to good works in the Uttoxeter community (Gal 6:9-10, Matt 5:16), to support, help and display charity to opportunities as directed by the Holy Spirit for example Community Centre initiatives, youth work, care for the elderly, local school programs, etc.
5) Be A Fellowship Renowned For Hospitality
We believe that God desires us to be especially marked as a people who are notoriously warm hearted and caring (1 Jn 3:11, Jn 13:35) and who thrive in hospitality at every opportunity (1 Tim 3:2, Romans 12:13)
6) Be A Watchful Fellowship, Eager And Expectant Of The Return Of Our Lord
We believe God has called us to be prayerfully watchful (Mt 24:42, Mk 13:33,37) for the signs of the times of His Return, to be on our guard against the deception of those days (2 Thes 2:3, Mt 24:4) with the expectation that the Return of our Lord is a true, glorious and literal event (2 Tim 4:8, Titus 2:13, Acts 1:11) whether that be in our generation or one following (Rev 22:20, 2 Peter 3).
